Product Review – Mark V Tank (Third-Party Set) Before reviewing, it should be noted that this is a third-party set and not produced directly by Quan Guan. The set contains no printed parts; all details are applied via stickers. Minifigures are not included. Positives: The overall design is convincing once assembled. The Mark V tank is represented quite well for its small scale. No noticeable color variations between parts. No missing parts or molding defects. Generally good part fit; clutch power is acceptable but below LEGO standards. Negatives: The clutch power is insufficient for the building techniques used, especially during the final assembly. Approximately 14 stickers are used instead of printed parts. Unfortunately, the sticker colors do not match the underlying pieces well, particularly the green. The interior contains unnecessary color variation (“color vomit”), which complicates the build rather than helping it. In some cases, the colors in the instructions do not clearly match the actual parts. The instructions are mostly understandable (around 90%), but I still encountered build inconsistencies. Due to the fragile building techniques combined with weak clutch power, the build became unstable near the end. Build Experience: The model is constructed from three main subassemblies: the center section and the two side sections with track drives. The center section includes a small interior with a suggested engine. Both the front and rear sections are hinged and angled from the base plate. While this creates smooth outer surfaces, it significantly reduces structural stability. During several steps, there are not enough solid points to properly press parts into place. Both side sections are very fragile during construction and only gain limited stability after the outer panels are added. I have clicked on 1star, I have received spare parts and have tried to reinsert the random spares used to initially complete the model. The design is so weak, parts are falling off from all over, so have put the whole thing aside (now in about a dozen parts) to do another time-if at all. Very poor design and frustrating build.

It seems this set was rushed in production, and has not the same quality then the other third party sets. Major problems I had: 1. Normally this series used prints, but with this we got stickers instead. 2. Manual is printed on cheaper material then before. 3. Many missing pieces so that the tank can be finished. I contacted the support and hopefully i can finish the set later. My biggest wish would be that the third party sets get back to their former quality (pls no stickers). Seems quality control was on vacation when this set launched.

Latest from Quanguan kit is very disappointing. Missing and loose fitting bricks, and over-engineered however with a bit of superglue, lots of patience, a unique model for my collection.

NICHT KAUFEN !!! Das Model hat erstens jede Menge Sticker die farblich nicht passen und unglaublich viele Fehlteile.
