GOBRICKS MOC 189082 The Lion Knights' High Tower

I found this moc to be quite enjoyable to build with just one exception. The pieces were decent quality. The colors don't match a well known Danish brand, but for the price, I believe it is a great value with one exception. Delivery time was reasonable and if I recall correctly, it was delivered to me within the estimated window. Im not loyal to any brand anymore and frankly, I embrace competion in the building blocks industry. I would love to see other companies compete with the number one brand, but unfortunately, everyone seems to drop the ball in one or more critical areas. Now for the exceptions I refferred to. Quality control! This one area is perhaps the only reason other companies aren't able to displace the king of the industry. As much as I loved this set, the overall experience, price, reasonable parts quality; they dropped ball with shorting me pieces. I will admit they only shorted me 1 pice type. Not one 1 piece total, but 1 element type. This unfortunately consisted of 10 pieces that I do not have in my inventory. To make matters worse, they are a critical part to the build. Both structurally and cosmetically. I think a certain Danish brand is way over priced, but after spending $50,000+ on that brand, they never once shorted me a single piece. I should mention that I didnt contact YWOB about the missing pieces, so I don't know how they would have handled the situation. It was easier just ordering them via another company and having the pieces in 3 days. Its just a shame that there are some great companies out there in the market but I've never been able to order a set without missing pieces. Dozens and dozens of a well known brand ordered over decades and never missed a single piece. Versus multiple orders placed with their competitors and never had a single set that didnt miss pieces.
