12GO 97013 TIGER TANK 007

Modifications: To the left of the driver, I replaced the 1x4 tile with a 1x2 tile and a 1x2 jumper plate with a gearshift lever. I also swapped the 2x2 round tiles for four printed 2x2 tiles (fan wheels for the rear right/left engine). Attention! In building steps 18-27 and 51-57, the side armor plates, the two cross stickers are applied to the right/left. This is only covered at the end in BS 66! However, it's much easier to apply these stickers while building the side armor plates and before installation, as a large protective film must be removed before applying the cross. Only the cross itself is the actual sticker! (See image T4) Attention! In steps 38-48, the armor is built above the driver/radio operator. At step 47, you'll notice that the hatches are incorrectly positioned. On the Tiger I, they could only be opened to the side, not to the rear, as this would prevent the turret from rotating when the hatches were open! My tip: only loosely assemble everything from steps 38-46. This makes the correct repositioning much easier. You should have two additional parts (one set of two green tiles and one set of two tan tiles) in your parts box, as these are the only things you need to add! Attention! The T4 turret was, as always, a bit tricky. The only thing to keep in mind for ease of assembly is the barely visible indication that the sticker with the number 007 should be applied to part 13 in step 41. It's best to do this before assembling the turret; removing the protective film will then be easier, just like with the crosses before! Note: The turret was, as always, a bit tricky. All in all, aside from one missing part and a somewhat awkwardly structured instruction manual, the build was, thanks to the usual strong clamping force of 2, a lot of fun, and there were plenty of spare parts left over. And as always with 12GO, the end result is more than impressive and fits perfectly into the collection – highly recommended!

Good construction and nice scale.

Looks good with amazing details the only problem i had is that one of the steps require you to flip the model witch causes some of the loose parts(rounds) to fall out but you can easily do this step without flipping the set

Absolutely incredible model with amazing detail, brilliant figures and a build process that isn't too complex or awkward. Definitely worth the price, and an amazing addition to my collection.
