12GO 97012 Wittmann S04 White Tiger tank

There's nothing to say about the 12GO figures; they fit this model particularly well and speak for themselves! Bag 1 was pre-sorted, and I started building right away. For the undercarriage, I would have liked six more 2x3 inverted tiles for added stability (Image 2). At step 16 (Image 3), I wondered what the tech plate was for. It only seems to hold the projectiles during construction and is ultimately unnecessary, so I removed it and replaced it with one 2x2 round tile with a hole (Image 4). The T2 wheels, axles, and tracks were easy to attach. The rear armor had a lot of small parts, but the printed parts are already sorted and placed on separate plates, making them easy to find according to the instructions. The side armor was simple to assemble and looks great with the dirt print. T3, interior from front to back, including the front driver/radio operator armor (the hatches need to be repositioned here, as they open to the side in the original!), hull armor under the turret, and engine cover. I particularly like the design of the Feifel air intake pipes. T4, the turret construction is somewhat fragile in places due to weak clamping force, and the cover plate with the hatches isn't great either. The only highlights are the firing rings, two nicely printed tiles inside and out on the turret, and to allow the gun to move properly, I had to file down the bottom center of the printed molded parts at the front. Aside from the very inconsistent clamping force, ranging from 2 to 3 in relatively important areas, and other design flaws, the build was still a lot of fun, as the result, as always in the collection, is more than impressive and highly recommended!

Tolles Set, Klemmkraft super, bis auf 2 Sticker (auf die ich verzichtet habe) ALLES Prints, innen wie aussen. Das Weiß kein reines Weiß ist, finde ich nicht schlimm, im Gegenteil, ist ja immer noch ein Gefechtsfahrzeug. Von mir gibt es 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung

Ganz gut wenn man den Vorgänger hat ist der unnötig. Aber schönes Modell.

Tiger 1 in Schneetarn … echt cooles Teil und von der Bauweise her anders als die erste Welle an Tigern. Der Bau hat super Spaß gemacht und das Modell sieht klasse aus. Leider sind die Figuren austauschbar … Ich hätte mir wenigstens für den Namensgeber eine extra Figur gewünscht.
