Unboxing the 12GO M26 Pershing, first things first: the figures. They're top-notch, as is typical for 12GO, and even though he doesn't quite fit the overall theme, I really like Gen. Patton with his two Colts and cigar. I pre-sorted and immediately assembled T1. Thanks to the usual very clear instructions and the high-quality parts, the first part went smoothly. T2 is finished. While it was also easy to build, assembling the running gear was a bit tedious because of the relatively large number of small parts. (No, the pallets are scratch-built and not included in the set!) T3 is finished, and the sheer number of details, like the various storage compartments (still open in the photos) on the side track guards, which can hold all sorts of things, already makes this model a real eye-catcher. T4 road wheels are, as always, a bit tricky and difficult to fit onto the cross axles. The tracks are very good quality and easy to assemble. The side armor holds everything together perfectly. Just a few more things for the hull and the tank is almost finished. T5 The turret is... well, important! Just a word of advice! Before you join parts 53 and 47 on page 43, step 54, do steps 56-67 first, and step 54 last. Otherwise, the whole thing could end in a parts massacre. All in all, apart from one missing 1x1 dark olive tile (which I replaced with dark gray), one wedge in the wrong green (see turret picture), and the nerve-wracking turret construction, I have to say that I'm very satisfied with the final product, as always. Keep it up, 12GO!

Super detailed tank! Price to piece ratio is very appealing! I still have to finish the turret, but so far a great build. Only the running wheels were a pain to put on.
