12GO 97003 PzKpfw IV Ausf. F2

Next up is the PZ.KPFW.IV AUSF.F2 from 12GO 97003. Unpacking, pre-sorting from bag 1, and first assembling the figures, revealing four excellently printed figures, one at the front and one at the rear. Bag 1, the entire undercarriage, seemed a bit fragile at first, but it became increasingly stable as I built it. I've already prepared the track links for both sides. Continuing with T2, I built and installed the front and rear drive modules. Then, as you can see, the guys fitted the tracks. I also initially assembled the track guards outside the chassis; this makes them more stable and easier to press into the hinge pieces. The front and rear armor, including the exhaust system, as well as the upper side armor, were quick and easy to attach. The bucket and hammer aren't included; I added those myself! T3 is the final piece, featuring a well-detailed tower made up of two molded parts. You may like them or not. They're quite good, but assembling them with the interior is a real test of patience, and they lack some of the usual Brick Build stability. However, you get used to it once everything is together. Due to the strong clamping force, I had the impression that the tank was an older 12GO model, but this didn't detract from the fun of building it or the precise fit. The really great shape, along with the standard parts and the superb figures, makes this model yet another impressive addition to the collection and is highly recommended!

I see alot of people having problems with the turret, I didn't have this issue. Though I only use it for displaying. Really nice and detailed set. 12GO is moving up in the scene and making more impressive sets every year

Sorry, terrible photos 😂 I used some modellers plastic glue for troublesome turret, otherwise very stable and satisfying build 👍

This set being an early 12GO tank is not perfect, but apart the Turret braking easily, and the 2 huge mold (they could have used smaller pieces with some creativity) that I didn't like, it's still a decent tank, but I'm still waiting for a perfect PZ4 tank. I would give it 4 and a half star if possible. The bottom half is a bit repetative to build, but once done, it looks really close to the original.

Great build and apart from the odd damaged/malformed parts a great kit of one of my favourite WWII tanks! Super interior detail. Turret required a little care when building as somewhat flimsy! Fab fast delivery again.

Very nicely designed the way the suspension connects to the roller wheels is a bit difficult to line up but doable, great quality of print and parts of the figures, the build for the turret is a bit flimsy without the use of super glue

Sehr gutes Modell. Alle Details vorhanden. Turmkorb und Seitenluken auch modelliert. Einzige Nachteil ist die Farbe. Die Teile vom Gußträger ist zu hell. Die braunen Werkzeuge sind nahezu orange.

Nice model, accurate to the real deal. Wish they used a slightly darker grey though.

Overall a good looking model. Bricks vary a little bit in color, clutch power is sufficient. The molded parts give it a realstic look with much details. Very interesing building technics are used. Sadly the german crosses on the tank are stickers, everything else is printed. Since the turrent mg was missing I had to cut a bar off from a spare track piece, see attached images. Definitly will try more 12GO models in the future.
