what a great build! There are 9 individual models; 3 major: the Engine, lift stand, and transport. and 6 lesser: pull tug, scissor lift, tool cabinet, computer desk, analysis desk, and a robotic assist. I didn't have a missing part problem at all; the pieces connected well. The directions were comprehensive-broken up into 10 numbered bag groups. 1-2: engine lift stand, 3-7: jet engine, 8: transport, 9-10: smaller models. Every completed piece in the set has movement options. The engine is pretty cool. the sides can lift up, and be held up with simulated hydraulic pistons. the fan blades spin. a lot of detail in the engine. The engine can be mounted to the lift stand or removed and held in the transport. closing the engine sides completely requires removal of the hydraulic part. The lift stand is raised/lowered by crank and gears. the engine transport support arms move via a crank with realistic wheels. the tug cleanly attaches and detaches from the transport... it has moving steering. The scissor lift goes up and down with a lever. There is a lot of playability in this set after completion. it held together pretty well when handled. There really were a few direction items where it was challenging for me to identify the correct parts or how they connected, but these were few and I worked through them. There were a couple cosmetic parts on the engine that didn't quite fit well and popped of, but this was limted to a couple of small pieces. This set was really fun to build. Anyone enjoying the Aerospace and Defence world is unlikely to be disappointed with this model. I know I wasn't.
