Mould King 13117 F1 Race Car

The delivery of the package was super fast as always, in under a week to Germany, thank you Loy! The assembly of the model was very fun. There were no missing parts and the bricks are of good quality. However, as mentioned in other reviews, this is more of a showcase model as it is not incredibly sturdy. Another minor criticism is that the wheels of the front axle are slightly crooked. This problem has been identified with the F1 Car by Mork and extra instructions to fix it have been included. Unfortunately, that is missing here. Nevertheless, I can definitely recommend the set. The price-performance ratio is definitely unbeatable here!

Part quality was great, as expected from GOBRICKS, and the directions were thorough enough. My only gripe is that the construction itself wasn鈥檛 terribly complex and didn鈥檛 feel as solid as some others.

Assembled well. All parts within good tolerance - nothing too tight or too loose. Looking forward to selecting next project.

Bought this set after the Mould King McLaren 720s which I enjoyed very much. After a quick and flawless delivery this set does not dissappoint. It’s a less complex build compared to the 720s but still much fun to build. Brick quality is very good, instructions are also good but I think the 720s instructions were a bit better. The finished model looks great. Only a few points of criticism... Four pieces were not correct but did not pose a big problem after a small modification. The front suspension is a little weak. It can only just hold the weight of the car. After you press it down it will not spring back. Interesting to see how this will hold up over time... The rear suspension is ok though. Lastly the front wheels are not aligned 100%, which makes it drive a little difficult. Maybe I made a mistake there, not sure, but I don’t think so. Don’t misunderstand me, this is a great set for the money. I don’t play with it, it’s just for display and it looks great. The little flaws I mentioned are therefore not a problem to me. Overall recommended!
