TGL T5030 Aston Martin

Wederom weer een mooi model. De kwaliteit van de stenen en de bouwinstructie is zoals gewoonlijk van TGL goed.

Overall, it is a pretty good set. Do keep in mind that the pieces arent of the highest quality, but definitely not the worst. My fingers did hurt alot after, but it wasnt that bad. The features are nice and the car is pretty, tho some mechanisms are wonky

Parts quality - 2/5. So many pieces with scratches and you might notice that aqua coloured pieces are not uniform or consistent. Finally probably this is the biggest con, pieces were hard to put together like putting pins on beams. It hurt my fingers a lot. The big plus here were the transparent bricks for the engine. Instructions- 4/5. Instructions are OK easy to understand if you had some experience building medium sized sets (eg Porsche 911 RSR, Ferrari 488). I won鈥檛 recommend this model to a begginer. Building experience- 3/5. As mentioned, big letdown was the quality of the parts. I was about to give up halfway through the build because my fingers were hurting. No HOg steering though. There were some good building techniques here and there; some sub assemblies were difficult to connect to the main build and some do not fit the shape of the car like the alignment of the scissor doors at the top of the car. Steering radius is quite limited and hardly noticeable. A good thing though is that the car moves 馃槉 and you can see the pistons move as you drive the car.
