JAKI 8501 Project Dawn: Dawn 5 Rocket

Comes sorted in several plastic bags - especially the transparent, the (excellently) printed and the glossy metallic parts are all separated and arrive in good condition. Consequently the part surface quality is excellent. The part`s clamping force leaves no wishes open. Building experience is flawless & fluent: split into three construction phases with matching part bags the desk never is overloaded and most parts are quickly spotted out. Instructions are easy-to-follow. My pack had no missing or faulty parts. I built in two evenings with gloves to avoid fingerprints. I like the color combination. The decorative appearance doubles when it is placed in a showcase (20x20x45cm - best with black glossy bottom and mirror back wall). A mirror lets You enjoy both sides at the same time: interior and exterior. A bid sad is that especially the base leaves many naked studs. The more because the rest of the model shows nearly none. Covering these with tiles afterwards is a good idea. I cań’t judge the realism of the details. Obvious is the contrast between the (throw-away!) vehicle and its payload. The price is absolute OK and this is my 2nd Jaki model with a constant building experience. Whoever likes it, don`t hesitate to build Yours!

5 stars because it really is a high quality product from start to finish. I really wish the manual didn’t white out all the parts after every step, it makes for some very confusing moments. End product is really great though !
