    W*** F

First of all, I absolutely love this set. It's probably my favorite set that I've ever built. But it's NOT for the amateur builder. The instructions jump a lot of steps and you have to be able to read the pictures in the instructions and figure out where pieces go (As opposed to those that might be used to Lego that holds your hand in each step). Some of the stickers don't stick to the bricks (also, heads up, there's about 230 stickers here. It's completely manageable, but definitely a surprise). This set was clearly designed in a program like stud.io and potentially not built in person to make sure it all worked. There are steps that require really small fingers to accomplish or have the sections you're building on be suspended in midair. It's a beautiful set. A lot of detail and thought went into the design. There's a lot of gears and joints (that don't get detailed in the instructions for what use they are, further defending the "not for amateur builders" statement) for extra articulation but the GN Blade and Shield are VERY heavy and make it so you can only have the arms down to the side. The angle of the GN Blade, and the looseness of the joint, make the blade fall down, contradicting the pictures shown. This was the most frustrating build I've ever built but is also by far my favorite build. As each piece of armor came together I got more and more excited, but I'd never ACTUALLY tell someone to buy it. Buyer be warned, but welcome future owner, to the club.
