GOBRICKS MOC 163300 French Battleship Richelieu

The model itself is great and a pleasure to look at. The way of getting there was a real pain. Got this model as a present and started building. As it is MOC, all of its 10000 + parts needed to be put out at once, no presorted parts. Kind of a challenge, I was really pumped. Soon, the first parts were missing. Well, 10000 parts, there might be some missing parts, I guess. This was fine and I got the parts while shopping at a local brick store. At around 20% of the model, more and more parts started to be missing. I was pissed at that time. In order to complete the model quickly, I decided to presort the parts according to the instruction booklet. Also noting any missing parts, ordering them via YWOBB. This really worked well and the parts were delivered quickly. Thanks for that =) Around 50 parts were delivered. After continuing to build, the model got kinda hard to construct. You do start to build the interior of the ship, the foundation is added afterwards. So, I decided to deconstruct the model again, starting from scratch, changing the order of the construction steps. This orked out quite good, the model was completed in 5 days afterwards.
