Nice and sturdy once it's set down and not touched. However, when trying to pose it, it can be very fragile with the arms for me coming off quite frequently, but it's not meant for play, so it's only a minor inconvenience.

The model here is great, there is one absolutely illegal building technique that doesn't work, but with enough fiddling you can make it look nice. The end result is extremely stable (feels like a bionicle) and stands up on its own. Highly recommend this if you're a fan of Risk Of Rain
