    Overall it's a decent set with one fatal flaw, the magnets in the couplings are too weak. As soon as you power the motor to move forward, the engine pulls away from the second car. The pieces are about what you should expect at this price, decent but not great. Taking off the roof parts often separates other pieces as the connections are not consistently strong as with high-quality building bricks. If you're just going to build this to display it, it's all fine.

    Pros: - Very detailed and lavish design - Very good brick quality (except one bogie plate, which pin is too loose to hold the bogie firmly) - Good instruction - Very good value for money Cons: - Instruction does not explain how to insert cables - Digital remote control only, new proportional remote control from MK works much better (no uncoupling anymore) - Pin axles have a quite high rolling resistance, train is not very fast...
